 St. Patricks Clothes Closet: Located at 100 Main St, Nicholson, PA 18446.  The clothes closet provides the community with clothes, household supplies and books at a cost of a quarter per item.  Volunteers are alwys needed to help serve the wonderful mission please contact: Joan Kupetsky 942-4481 or Jane Decker 942-6078.

United Methodist Church of Nicholson: Located at 64 State St Nicholson, PA 18446 (570) 942-6604. The food pantry is the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month from 1:00 to 3:00. The next distribution will be a week from today on the 25th of September. All in need of food are welcome - Volunteers are needed. Simply arrive about 12:30 to ready the distribution. This is a combined effort of churches in Nicholson area.

Oak Leaf Therapeutic Horsemanship Center: We are located at 103 Oakley Lane, Nicholson, PA 18446 and provide therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with special needs.  You can find us on Google Maps, by entering Oak Leaf Horsemanship Center, and contact us by calling 570-945-3922.

Volunteers We rely on our volunteers without whom our riders could not gain the benefits of therapeutic riding.   Volunteers help with all aspects of the lessons:helping the riders mount and dismount the horses, when needed lead the horses during the lesson and walk beside the riders.

Volunteering is easy We have more things to do than you can imagine -- dog walking and socializing, cat socializing and grooming, small animal socializing. Don't want to work directly with animals?  No problem at all.  We have plenty else you can do -- grounds keeping, clerical, housekeeping.Schedules and duties to suit and fit everyone interested in being a volunteer!
