Local Interest

  • Model Railroad ClubThe ENDLESS MOUNTAINS MODEL RAILROAD CLUB is an organization to promote the wonderful hobby of model railroading in Wyoming and Susquehanna counties of Northeast Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.

    The club was founded in January 2010 by model railroad enthusiasts in the area who were looking for an organization closer than the existing ones in the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre area.

    The EMMRRC is open to members of all ages. Youths and families are especially welcome.

  • Nicholson Music Studio -Private Music, Drumset and Percussion lessons located in town Ages 5 and up.  Coaching students from new/ basic - intermediate.   Percussion is great way to allow your kid to learn musical skills as well as improving fitness,  coordination , confidence, dexterity and an increased learning capacity for other subjects. call 570 942 -5016

Rita Eddy Painting 

Rita Eddy is a lifelong resident of Susquehanna residing near Birchardville.  She has painted many historical buildings and scenes throughout Susquehanna County.  Her paintings are done in pastels, watercolors and acrylics.  You can view her work locally in several businesses around the area as well as the Artists' Open House Weekend art tour in the county during Columbus Day Weekend of October 6,7, and 8.  Contact her for more information at 570-553-2500 or .  Websites:  rita-eddy.artistswebsites.com, andartiststour.com.
